Despite last year’s freeze here in Florida, we managed to rescue some of our Hibiscus crosses. These crosses were made in Spring 2008, and the seed was harvested in the Summer of 2009. The outcomes were very interesting indeed!
The first cross is a Rainbow Christy x Silver Memories cross. Looks like it took a lot from Rainbow Christy. I really like Rainbow Christy for setting seed, producing pollen and easy reproduction. The plant has lots of stamina and very sturdy overall form.
Silver Memories has beautiful gray and yellow peach coloring. A good pollen donor.
